The Baikal bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula cineracea), also known as the grey bullfinch

In February, I met a couple of these beauties. This species of bullfinches lives mainly in mountain forests, so they are found in my region much less often than ordinary bullfinches. I was very surprised by their behavior. Unlike common bullfinches already used to in winter, which are used to people and should not be afraid, but on the contrary are very afraid of people, gray bullfinches did not frighten me at all. Both birds flew in my direction and sat on the willow bush that was with me. I even had to move away from them so that they fit into the frame! And jumping from branch to branch, or going down to the ground, they made quiet whistles so as not to lose each other.
