The lesser spotted woodpecker (Dryobates minor)

Having heard the flock of Great Tits, their multiple voices, it is worth being ready to meet other species of birds in their group. At that moment I saw this little woodpecker. He roamed the forest in the company of great tits and one nuthatch.

In the photo you can see his typical behavior. He almost never explores the thick bark of trees, prefers only branches or shrubs. However, I met them pecking trees, but they did it at the very bottom, where the bark was brittle and rotten.
This buddy went about his business, and sometimes listened and looked at the other birds with whom he wandered, because it is very important to stay together and not lose each other.
