Shangri-La Lunch Buffet | Food Lovers 😍

Hello Everyone,

Today I am sharing with you guys about the Lunch buffet experience we had last weekend. As @imanthadd also mentioned in his post, this was long planned but, it got delayed due to many reasons time to time.

Piyumal is one of the best friends of Imantha. And his wife is one of my batchmates. Before they leave the country, they wanted to make this happen as we have planned before. Two weeks earlier Imantha asked me for an available date.

We two never say no to foods. I also like to try different kind of foods even if I can’t eat a lot. And my boy is definitely the opposite of me. He is the savior always.

As per the plan buffet starts on 12.30PM and end at 3.30PM. since we had some time before that, we went on shopping. I was hoping to buy a denim jean for my self. And ended up selecting frocks and romper suits for my nieces.

Two of my nieces will turn 1 year soon. So I wanted to buy them a little gift. And our sweet little girl is always making my pocket empty. And her future uncle is very patience while I was doing my shopping 🥰.

The buffet had so many varities of foods. We have started with soup. We choose chicken broth soup with noodles. We can choose which broth we need and which noodle we need in it. And then we went for pasta. It is also customizable with the sauce we want, the type of pasta and the vegetables we need. For the pasta we choose chicken mixed pasta sauce and I choose baby corn for my dish. Imantha choose corn kernels for his dish.

And we could eat may types of mini foods, meats (There were different types but I tried only chicken) and seafood. Even the chicken had prepared in different ways. There were Korean, Chinese type of food also. We tried kimchi rice. And there were dumplings also. Sri Lankan foods were there too.

Most important part was the dessert. There were puddings, cheesecakes, cupcakes, fruits, ice creams, crapes, chocolates, gateau cakes and Sri Lankan sweets. We were almost full even before we try everything. But it was very reasonable the price we had to pay per person when considering the freedom we have to eat as we want.
