Skynet – Collaborating Blockchain Technology and IoT

Overview:

Machine learning and artificial intelligence are changing the world today. However, problems persist as centralized process controls the development through machine learning and artificial intelligence. Skynet aims to link blockchain technology with machine learning, AI, internet of things so that there will not be any central authority present. Integration of blockchain will allow machines to learn from each other without human interference. Skynet will develop the first blockchain chip and an IOT blockchain network. These blockchain chips can be used in every devices and the devices will be connected by Skynet’s blockchain network.

Challenges:

Though blockchain has enormous applications, it still faces problems while interacting with IoT devices. The blockchain architecture of Bitcoin and Ethereum have low transaction speed and high transaction cost which brings in inefficiency. Also, these blockchain networks are not able to interact with each other and they develop in their own network.
Smaller IoT devices are also not suitable for blockchain technology as they cannot carry out mining due to large computational power required. Ack of storage and getting easily hacked are other problems due to which IoT cannot support blockchain.

Solution:

Skynet Open Network (SON) is providing a solution by connecting all the IoT devices. For achieving this the SON will develop its infrastructure in such a way which will be:

• Connected: All devices will be able to connect with each other and share information. To avoid the malicious device the devices will have the ability to connect only to the positive nodes.
• Autonomous: SON will make all devices autonomous intelligent which will enable devices to learn new situations.
• Manageable: The device owners will get audit trails which will help them to manage the devices when they are not functioning properly.
• Blockchain Versatile: SON will provide a choice for such devices to choose the blockchain network which best suits the. SON will do this by connecting all the blockchains.

Skynet Protocol:

Skynet protocol consists of Skynet Core which is a neuro processing blockchain chip and Skynet Open Network (SON). Skynet core will help devices to become intelligent and connect with each other while SON will provide the application which will support the cores to connect with each other.
Skynet core will make possible the usage of cryptocurrencies and blockchain on IoT networks. Skynet Core’s IP consist of: CPU which will run the standard applications, Blockchain Hardware like crypto engines and hardware wallets and Neural Processing Units which will carry out AI learning
