Steemit helped me more than I thought! (Thank you!)

in #venezuela8 years ago (edited)

Hello steemit friends, I want to start this post by thanking, because I think this opportunity to express and tell experiences I liked a lot, being able to tell them everything that happens around me and in my country is one of the main reasons that moves me. As I have already explained, I am Venezuelan and like many on this platform (Venezuelans too) we seek steemit a refuge or a way to help us financially, since Venezuela is going through a very difficult crisis at this time.

What I am going to do is that through this tool and the fascination I have for telling stories, I have found the best way to help at home. My family is quite large, and unfortunately many of them are no longer in the country, for the reason I already explained. In a way I feel happy and grateful because the effort has not been in vain, however I want to expose that what is earned in steemit should use it to save or even to invest, I think that is mostly what users do, but I am very sure that the majority of Venezuelans who are on this platform use this money for the simplest and most difficult to buy in my country: food.

It is painful to go through this situation, a couple of days ago, a boy in a chat from Discord asked me that as soon as the exchange rate for the sbd was there, I gladly replied, the very sad boy tells me: it is that I have a baby of 3 months, the truth broke my soul. Why do we have to go through this situation? I do not think anybody deserves any of this, and I never wish it to any person, within my family nucleus besides my two parents I have my grandmother and my great grandmother, whom from the deepest part of my heart I I hope they recover those days of old age that they deserve.

(Mama Carlota: My great grandmother)

(Maita: My grandmother)

A pension for the elderly (of those who worked for a lifetime for Venezuela) is quoted at 240000bsf and my grandmother for example tells me: "Daughter yesterday I asked for stress medicine, but it costs 2000000bsf, what I see is that this government he wants to kill everyone. " They do not know how I felt, they do not know how difficult it is to see friends, family, neighbors, etc. Extremely thin because the diet of the Venezuelan change dramatically, buy a basic basket in this country is millionaires.

With the little that I have managed to accumulate in steemit I have managed to buy a couple of good markets, medicine and I have even given one that another luxury what should be normal for a person of my age. Actually, steemit is in some way an oxygen for me, for my family, because I'm still in Venezuela and although it hurts in my soul I'll have to leave soon, to get a job in my area (Environmental Engineering) since I'm a recent graduate , and of course in Venezuela there is where to work, but nobody wants to do "work for free" because the salary of an employee is really a misery.

(They do not know how happy my parents were and how excited I was to be able to help them)

It is very sad that in a certain way we are turning our backs on the country, and we are not working towards it, but it is complicated, at least my profession is more sought in the interior of the country, which would require more expenses, to live , to sleep, to eat, and instead of making an aid that work would be to spend more money without being able to help my parents. The same is true of the pain of people in supermarkets where even the elderly are tired by doing hours and hours of queuing for a product that is scarce in the country.

This is what has left the "revolution" grandparents who should be finishing their lives with the best comforts and tranquility today are line to buy food, this is the Venezuela that left us this revolution, the only thing that has done is to destroy this country, it gives me pain and regret that people like this lady have to last for hours in a miserable line, when at her age she should be enjoying her grandchildren in the tranquility of her house.

I really want to thank the people who always read me, and I would like to know what kind of things they like to publish, sometimes I reflect on many aspects of life, sometimes I like to show the corners of the world and better yet my country where I've been I want to travel more, but reasons prevent me at this time, before I had a nice homemade camera with which I dedicated my trips to take great pictures (for those who have already seen my previous post) but on one of those trips I was a victim of common hampa (something very normal in my country) and now I only use my cell phone to take pictures, I do not complain has a good camera, but if some day I save enough and it is an expense that is not so small I think I'll do it, and I'll buy myself a good camera again.

I will continue publishing in steemit

I usually am a very active person, I never stay still, I always have to be doing something, I like cooking, I like photography, writing, I like sewing, I like many arts and that's why I always have something to tell or something to talk about, in short I just wanted to express my feelings and my emotions today, to thank the people who have supported me and have liked the things that I publish, whenever I can I will tell what is happening in my Country: Venezuela.

I will continue telling stories

For all the old people, young people and people in need in my country, for this to be seen by the world, know it and not let it happen in their countries, because in my country has fallen a horrible plague of bad people who only think in power and in starving people, think friends, always think when they vote, when they choose the people who rule their country, leaving this crisis will not be easy and it hurts my soul in the soul my country, my people, my landscapes, it hurts that in a certain way we have the head down, I want to ask the people who read me to think positively about Venezuela, to help send good vibes that is what my country needs most at this time, thank you very much for reading and voting in my post always!

Good vibes for the little ones and the bigger ones too!

It angers me that hardship like this is caused by the pigs that want everything we work for in life, at least to control them. The plight you have to deal with sickens me, because every day I see people that would trade their liberties away for the newest tech gadget or whatever here in the United States. My heart goes out to you and the people that have to deal with corruption that inevitably happens when the tiger is let out of the cage that is overly-centralized federal government. Best of luck, keep up the great work!

Dear @cryptkeeper17 thank you very much for the support always, I really like to tell what happens in my country, so that people become aware of the decisions they make and take into account the importance of freedom and choose the country rulers well, freedom and security are things that are not changed by anything, ideologies of all kinds often brainwash people and do not notice how harmful they can be for themselves, I will continue to upload stories and continue telling about of this so important for me and for Venezuelans.
