Hello steemit friends, today I want to tell you about one of the most beautiful beaches to go here in my country, and today's tour focuses on this spectacular place, very worthy of all the corners of Venezuela of those who already I have counted and taught several photos, it is a small municipality located in the state of Falcón-Venezuela, its name is the "Los Taques"

"Los Taques" is one of the 25 municipalities that are part of the Falcón State, in Venezuela. It is located west of the Paraguaná Peninsula; it limits to the north with the Caribbean Sea and the Municipality Falcón, to the south with the Municipality Carirubana, to the east with the Municipality Falcón and to the west with the Caribbean Sea (Gulf of Venezuela). It has an area of ​​231 km² and a population of 50,208 (2011 census), its capital is Santa Cruz de los Taques. Oil activity, especially refining, is the main economic activity of the municipality; tourism is the second most important activity.

Why the name?

Looking for the name "Los Taques" comes from a plant in the area, already extinct in the Falcón State, which produces a fruit very similar to the nut.

In addition, the legend tells that when the Spaniards arrived, they interrogated the indigenous people of the area about a few places where they could access their back, to which "Taque" and "Taque" responded, giving rise to the name of the population, and more recently, to the entire municipality.
Now, the place has extraordinary beaches, full of blues and greens, it really is a place worth knowing and is located approximately 15 minutes from the state capital Falcon.
