We Couldn't Make It

This is an extension of my book fair journey last Saturday. So after purchasing books, we decided to have a quick visit to One Gallface Mall to grab something to eat and also to check out some shops. Long-time exposure to Facebook-sponsored posts made me check out some items from Midaya Ceramics, Celcius, and cozy linen. Definitely, I didn't want to buy any, but I just wanted to know how much I should collect to buy the stuff :)

This time we climbed up to 4th floor. I guess we hadn't visited this floor before but next time onwards definitely we do. This floor is full of entertainment and cool stuff. Specially there was an AR gaming zone by Mobitel, kids adventure zone and many more.

But we really stopped by the Claw Machines with cute teddy bears.

Eventhough it seems fun, we realized that it is not easy to win at all. First, we try to observe how others tryout and how to operate the machine. It needed 100 LKR to use the machine 1 time and 500 LKR for 10 attempts. As we were pretty new for this we couldn't really catch the mechanism of winning. We saw one or two people win a teddy bear after multiple attempts.

After a little bit of observation, Harith gave it a try but it wasn't easy at all. The claw drops the toy very easily and we were unable to figure out the mechanism behind it.

We tried three times but really it didn't work. So we decided to try it in a later day, after understanding the maths behind this.

Actually, this floor is somewhere fun to visit, and try out a few things easily. After all, we went to the restaurant and had a meal. I always think it's a waste of money after having food from the OGF food court. Probebly we should never ever go there to purchase a Sprite cup for 300 LKR.
