Preparing for a Sleepless Friday | 10% to SL-Charity

I feel like I just started the week, but it is already Friday! Usually, I start work early on Friday and off early to have some free time. During the last two days, we had to struggle with a critical issue at the Union Bank system which we are going to release live soon. It was stressful because this is critically affecting to data that the system maintains. And this blocks our go-live release.

So we had to work on it continuously. Due to COVID, we use remote sessions to work. We do finance applications. Basically, each and every bank uses its internal networks so that we can not access them directly. They share VPN access for UAT (User Acceptance Test) environments and Teams/Webex sessions for production environments.

It was an advantage at this moment because I could work late at night comfortably from home instead of going to the bank.

Somehow 7 of us worked the whole night yesterday to debug the issue. We got new problems one after another. The environment had issues in all layers. Somehow we couldn't up our system and passed the work to the next day.

Today, Friday we still work on the issue and still couldn't wrap up the issue.

After I finished University, Friday is the day I spend watching movies and the day I don't like to write in steemit. But today I am so waiting till 10.00 p.m to joining the MS Teams session and work to finish this. If we can do it oday, this weekend will be the best!
