He Said, "I Felt the Change". Only Guys Know! 🤷‍♀️

This is the fourth extension of my Saturday journey...

My boyfriend had a number of upcoming wedding invitations, and after doing simple math, we realized that buying a new blazer can save a huge amount of money than renting a coat. It would take 2000 LKR per day to rent and obviously buying is a good decision.

As the person who knows Galle "Better", I lead the way. Ha haa.. Rich Look textile shop was the only place I had my head. So we headed to Richlook.

On the men's floor, we were shown some ready-made blazers with trousers. They cost 17000 LKR to 19 000LKR but from first sight, we noticed they were extremely old or used. He fit on one and said, "Nah.. I feel the change". As I don't anything regarding the blazers I said, "Hmmm.. yeah I feel too".

"Where to go next?"

"Hee.. perhaps we can check in small shops in the main street." Eventhough I didn't know anywhere it go, I made a wise answer and he was impressed.

We went to multiple shops but there were no blazers. Suddenly I gave another smart response by showing a groom's costume shop.

At first, he was hesitant but I lead the way. Actually, there were brand new blazers to sell, and also blazers to rent. We asked for a newly sew blazer and after taking his shoulder size they showed us new blazers. They are also doing new blazers as per request.

As we are in hurry, we preferred a readymade blazer. The owner said that it will bit more cost when making just one blazer rather than bulk.

After fit on, he found a good one and said "I felt the change". Then he initiated his tricks and we went out to discuss whether we are buying this or not.

"We'll give the blazer for 12 000", the owner said before we leave.

How smart my man is 😏.

After roaming for a few minutes we came back to purchase the blazer. We were able to have a 1000 LKR reduction from the price it is given.

They took several minutes to add the buttons and press the blazer. It came so neatly and nicely afterward. We also purchased a cover to the blazer too.

If you are going to buy a blazer from Galle, there are plenty of groom's tailor shops on the main street and you can try out any of them to buy a good quality blazer. After a little bit of negotiation, you can lower the price too.
