Furniture Window Shopping Second Attempt | Moratumulla

The first attempt af furniture window shopping gave us some knowledge of where to begin. For our second attempt, we prepared well than the last visit. We already had an idea about what makes the price. Also, we finally realized where to go to check the furniture.

It is nowhere but Moratumulla. You'll find furniture shops one after another with an extensive variety of designs, materials, prices as well as quality.

We started from a smaller showroom (but they have a bigger workshop) because practically we know this kind of place gives us plenty of information. Actually, they had a good quality variety even though prices are lower than Ceylon Furniture which we checked last time. Actually, we were very happy about the offer they gave. The name of the shop is "Waduwa Katubedda". They are worth to visit.

Then we turned to Moratumull road and the first shop we stopped at didn't have furniture according to our budget. Dining sets and wardrobes were very expensive compared to the last shop.

Then we went to Sanda Sarana Furniture, which is pretty big and the owner was very supportive of us. Their furniture was all Teak and same time their finishing was extremely good.

We got lots of information as well as good offer for every piece of furniture which is impressive. Actually, there are plenty of furniture shops along this lane, even inside places. I think we went to at least 7 shops that day.

On the way, an uncle stopped us and took us to some other shop. We thought he is supporting generously but later realized he is doing this just to take benefits. He was pretty annoying and asked us to follow him even though we didn't want.

There were sofa sets even for 4 LAKS if you can afford them.

When it comes to 11.30 a.m we realized where should we place our order and we turned back to come home. But on the way, I noticed a very fancy and modern-looking furniture shop called "Teak Elegance". I asked Harith to stop and have a look there too.

We felt the difference when we first step in. It was an attractive shop with extremely elegant and high-end furniture. We are pretty incapable to afford them, but we had a look just to take some ideas. It had a really good arrangement of ornaments also.

Before going home, we stopped by Damro to check their bedroom suits. Actually, they looked good than we saw on the website.

This visit gave us a direction on where to go. Let's see what will happen next.
