CONTRACTS
GENESIS MINING - The specific duration of an Open-Ended contract is variable and determined by three factors: The mining difficulty, the Bitcoin vs USD exchange rates and the maintenance fee
In the event of a contract becoming unprofitable (i.e. the payout can’t cover the maintenance fee), the resulting daily payout will be zero. After that, the contract will continue to mine for 60 days. This means that we will take care of the maintenance fee in the hope that your contract becomes profitable again.
HASHFLARE - SHA-256 and SCRYPT contracts last indefinitely but are subject to maintenance and electricity fees (MEF). The mining process will be stopped once the revenue gets smaller than the MEF, and if the mining becomes profitable within 21 days, the mining will be resumed.

HASHFLARE - $30 – 250 GH/S
MAINTENANCE FEE
GENESIS MINING –USD 0.00028 per GH/S per day
HASHFLARE - The maintenance and electronic fee is linear and equals 0.0035 USD per every 10 GH/s of SHA-256 and 0.01 USD per every 1 MH/s of Scrypt per day.

good info, thanks for the post. I think it breaks down to business model, incentives and user experience. It is more or less the same tech and protocols, but the inclusion of non experts is what i think is the tipping point. What do you think about this @randell ?
@sono.arquetip for me but i don't want to bias i will choose genesis mining, have search for their website, videos on yooutube actually showing their mining site which is very dangerous for them as you know competitor might do something on their mining farm. But really hashflare is something, it really offers an alternative to cloud mining because of much cheaper hashrate so i will leave it to others which weights much to them, a stable company or a newer company that is much cheaper

im into genesis mining, it really depends on your hashrate so the more hashrate you have the more byc payout you will have, you could also check some youtube vidoes about genesis mining as for hashflare, i just started today
