Ballpoint Pen Tree Drawing & WoX Trail - Ran Art Blog
Lately I am a bit busy, so I joined the WoX Trail.
Meaning, I can continue to contribute to the WoX community, even if I am not here.
That said, I am going to continue posting art related articles occasionally.
My latest tree drawing is with a ballpoint pen.
Like a pencil, a ballpoint pen can produce different brightness values, depending on the amount of pressure, and angle of drawing.
And, like a technical pen (fine liner), it is permanent (meaning, not erasable).
I am still more comfortable with a technical pen. Here is an example.
And another with pencils.
Colored pens are nice too.
So are markers.
Colored pencils.
And, oil paints.
Which medium you like to use?

Nice pen drawing of a leafy tree, blessings friend
Thank you very much.
So much detail in all of these drawings…wow…fantastic work @ranartblog!
Thank you very much.
I've said it many times - you draw great.
I always admire your pictures
Do you paint big pictures or not? Maybe your paintings are exhibited in some art galleries or exhibitions?
Thank you. It is so important to get feedback, especially from people with no hidden interest. Creating is sometimes loneliness, so any praise is highly needed.
The biggest I painted is 90/60 cm like these paintings:
Now, because I teach 6 days a week, I mostly draw (not paint).
So, it is usually A4 or A5 paper.
I had an exhibition, but I don't like it.
👍👍👍
Wonderful! And I thought that you draw no more than A4 format
In 2020, my daughter and I went to the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow. I didn't expect to see such huge canvases! I stood and looked at the paintings as if mesmerized! I even did a review in Steemit. But that was a long time ago.
When drawing yes. I usually use A5 or A4 paper.
But, in some occasions, I do use A3 (double the size of A4).

And this :o)
With painting I had plans to go bigger (1.20 cm), but life came and changed my plans. So I had to focus on making money instead of creating all day.

Gosh that bottom one looks like a photo
Thank you :o)
