Whatsapp now officially lets you unsend a message
Earlier this week, Whatsapp updated their FAQ about the Unsend feature, but most people were not able to use them until today. From now on, users will be able to delete any embarrassing/unintended with a few simple clicks if they act within 7 minutes.
Prerequisite:
- Whatsapp should be updated to the latest version for both the parties
- Need to act within 7 minutes after sending the message
How to:
- Click and hold on the message you want to unsend and choose delete
- Choose "delete for everyone" option to delete the message for both sender and receiver.
Once you delete you will notice "You deleted this message".
This feature is now available for Andriod, Apple, Windows phone and desktop.
