Burger King with own cryptocurrency - Whoppercoin!

It's great to see how cryptocurrency technology is conquering the world. I just read that Burger King, one of fast food chain leaders is releasing it's own cryptocurrency. Local news says that the token is released on Waves platform. Currently it's being tested in Russia only, but let's wait and see how will it work!

There is one billion of Whoppercoins right now, however additional emmision is not excluded. Whoppercoins are earned by purchasing Whoppers - Burger King's burgers (for each Whopper bough you are receiving one Whoppercoin). It is still unclear what exchange rate is going to be.

Burger King representative said:

"We will test the [system] first, and then we will have an understanding."

Burger King was previously going to accept Bitcoins, but they had no idea what would be best way to do it. They decided to issue their own cryptocurrency!
