Hey guys, when I got to Siem Reap I had no idea what restaurant I should go or what kind of food I have to look for. So I researched on trip advisor to find the best restaurant in Siem Reap. It was super close to Angkor national museum so after finish looking around the museum we headed to there.

When I found Slek Morn I was surprised because it was a clean and modern style restaurant which is hard to find in Siem Reap.

I saw they sell a bottle of wines and it was $32 which quite an affordable price for tourists.

They had all different kind of menu starts with a western dish, Cambodian traditional dish, lots of Asian food! I choose pumpkin soup for an appetizer. They serve with a piece of garlic bread and it was really good.

I choose nasi goreng for my main dish. Nasi goreng is Indonesian fried rice. It was the first time trying nasi goreng to me, and I loved it :)

The only thing that I didn't like about this restaurant was the server kept asking me to make a review on trip advisor :( I understand it's important for their business, but I felt a little bit uncomfortable that they keep pushing me. I was thinking is this how they have a good review on trip advisor?

Anyways, even though it got uncomfortable at the end the food was lovely and it was so clean so you don't have to worry about getting sick from food. The price is a little bit high but I think it was worth it. If you're looking for a modern and clean restaurant in Siem Reap please check out Slek Morn.
