Created by canva,

Assalamu Alaikum friends. how are you all Hope everyone is healthy and well. I came today to participate in the engagement challenge at Street for Bangladesh Community. The topic of today's challenge is to mention the history of my country's national flag. I definitely enjoy this channel so interested to join here. Each country's national flag has a lot of history behind it. Similarly, behind the flag of my country there are many sacrifices in history and long wars. Which I will analyze in front of you today. The color of the national flag of Bangladesh is red surrounded by green. The red circle between the green is like water. The form of this flag was officially adopted on 17th January 1972. A small yellow map with a red circle in a green rectangle is called the map of Bangladesh. This type of flag was often used during the 1971 War of Independence. Where sometimes the yellow color map was seen inside the red circle.
Is there any history behind the formation of your national flag? If so, what happened?

The history behind the making of my national flag. The national flag of Bangladesh is a symbol of our pride and glory. The people of this country earned this flag of red and green in exchange for a lot of blood and sacrifice. The red color of the green rectangle of the national flag symbolizes the green nature of Bangladesh as if it is sticking to the blood of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the liberation war. In 1971, the national flag of Bangladesh was hoisted for the first time on the second march of 1971 by cutting the west side of Kala Bhaban of Dhaka University when the atrocities were raging all over the country in 1971. Bangabandhu's call has already started the non-cooperation movement across the country. An unimaginable incident happened on 23rd March on Pakistan's Republic Day. Lakhs of people died in that war to raise this flag.

What do the different colors or symbols on your national flag represent?

The green used in the flag represents the lush green landscape of the country. The red circle of the flag represents Bengali blood. An alternative interpretation says that the green background represents youth and progress, while the red moon represents revolution and renaissance. The circle of red design represents the rising sun, similar to the Japanese flag. The design of my country's flag is a red circle surrounded by green. The length and breadth of a rectangle will be in the ratio of 10:6. The radius of the red circle shall be one fifth of the length of the flag.

How does your national flag represent your country on the world stage?

The national flag of my country is represented in a very important way on the world stage. The national flag of Bangladesh is common all over the world. The whole world respects this flag. I love my own country and respect my country's flag. And we all should respect the national flag of my country. Hoist this flag at various places and pay respect to the flag. So we always hoist the national flag of our country in all the offices, courts, schools and colleges of our country. This is how the national flag of the country represents the world stage and my country as well.

Dear @rajusam,,

The flag of Bangladesh is not just a piece of cloth to us. It is a unique symbol of passion and love of 17 crore people across our country. Our flag was snatched from the Pakistani army during the 1971 war of independence. After nine long months of bloody war, our country got a free land and our beloved flag. We had to lose the honor of 2 lakh mothers and sisters and about 30 lakh martyrs to get the flag. Hope we all can respect our flag.

•Best Regards,,

Your country earned the privilege of carrying this flag high for all the blood and sacrifice, the red and green color that is national symbolizes the green nature of Bangladesh, on March 23 where many die in Pakistan, thousands of people who die to be able raise this flag.
