Thanks @thegoliath. When I wrote this I hoped that it engendered that kind of weird disjointed dream feel. It's great to hear that it hit the spot in achieving this. It was based pretty accurately on the final dream I had last night about my old friend. I think It can be a fine balance when writing a very personal poem to not let emotions completely take over and blind you to the craft of the piece. Anyway, I'm probably over analyzing ;-) Thanks for your visit and comment
