My underwater camera died in mexico a few years ago unfortunately :(
But I may buy a Go-pro before the next diving session happens. At the moment, I'm unlikely to afford either camera or diving. Fingers crossed the crypto market booms and steem too ;-)
What is an Irish selkie?
Water. In Scottish mythology, Selkies (also spelled silkies, sylkies, selchies) or Selkie folk (Scots: selkie fowk) meaning "Seal Folk" are mythological beings capable of therianthropy, changing from seal to human form by shedding their skin.
I love seals - such playful things. There's one close to us that pesters the fisherman at the local pier. He's slick and pretty and a thief of fish, as seals oft are. Once, i was surfing on my birthday and nearly leapt out of my wetsuit when there was a splash next to me and one leapt out of the water and followed me for a while. As soon as I saw it was a sea dog I was happy. Sea things with teeth I'm not so keen on.
Yeah, seals are awesome to chill with underwater 🙂 although, I've got to be honest, it's less chill than it is chaos of them chasing you around and playing tag with your fins.
That's a gr8 story about surfing with the seal. I've heard tales about surfers in Hawaii getting used to seeing sharks in the waves with them. Ha ha, knowing what I know about sharks I'm not sure I could do that. P.s. If you don't like sharks, don't read my latest horror story 😉.....

It's my passion really to go diving. I'm never happier than when messing around in the ocean, either snorkeling/freediving or scuba :)

I met these guys while swimming, but never while diving. Lucky.
Yeah, I was lucky to be able to afford my own dive equipment 7 years ago and travel to the seal colony to dive with them 🙂
