Who doesn't know that funny yellow family - The Simpsons.

This family's adventures, problems and happy days have become part of my mornings with breakfast and coffee :)

But did you know that The Simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening. The series is about everyday life of working-class life epitomized by the Simpson family The show is set in the town of Springfield and parodies American culture, society, and the human condition.

"Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire", also known as "The Simpsons Christmas Special", is the series premiere episode of The Simpson.
Since its debut on December 17, 1989, 618 episodes of The Simpsons have been broadcast. Its 28th season now. The Simpsons Movie, a feature-length film, was released in theaters worldwide on July 27, 2007, and grossed over $527 million.

Simpson’s family members:

Homer is working at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, owned by Montgomery Burns.
He got his name from Matt Groening's father, Homer Groening. If Homer does something wrong or injures herself, then he says "D'oh!"

Marge is a housewife and she likes to paint. Marge was named after Matt Groening's mother, Margaret Groening, although she never called "Marge" in real life.
Marge and Homer met in the camp at the age of 10. Homer was nervous and lied that his name was Elvis Jagger Abdul-Jabber. They met again after 8-9 in high school. Finally they fall in love and get married.

Bart is a good skateboarder and like normal boy – fools around all the time.

Lisa is eight years old and the smartest girl in the school. She is a vegetarian and a Buddhist. She speaks Swedish, French, Italian, German and Chinese. Lisa is very smart and, unlike Bart, enjoys school attendance. Lisa was named after Simpson's youngest sister Lisa Groening according to Matt Groening.

Maggie is the youngest of this family.She was named after the younger sister of Matt Groening's.. Maggie was born when Lisa was six and Bart eight years old. And she is going to be a baby probably till the end.

But in the end of day - they love their family, nomatter what!

I recommend watching it - it's simple and funny. And maybe you are going to regognise some family members or situations from your life :D
