An interesting job

I want to introduce you what I’m doing every day.

I have been working at a logistics company since 2007 and have got a lot of opportunities for development here. Today I work in this company in the fourth position.

I was not delighted to see exactly what this position was about, but I took that oportunity of ​​further internal development of this company. My job title is a purchasing assistant. I doubted for some time that can I do it. And I am very grateful to my boyfriend who believed in me and gave me more self-confidence to try it for sure.

My daily work is to order goods from contractors, monitor the accuracy of the agreed delivery of supplies, and communicate with suppliers, manage orders and invoices.

This work is exciting for forecasting sales. I never know the client's interests and buying behavior. I can not rely on selfish interests and taste preferences when ordering goods. Everything goes according to my intuition, according to the weather forecast, there are events in the vicinity, etc.

It is so interesting and getting even more exciting. I can not order too much goods in the warehouse, but I must be sure that the products won’t be miss and all customers will get their orders.

The whole process is one big collaboration - I calculate needs and make an order, the contractor must complete it in a timely and correct manner, the warehouse must receive it quickly and, upon receipt of orders, be ready to deliver it immediately.

Transport must not mislead the customer and must deliver the goods in due time, at the right amount of customer’s order for the people to buy them from the store.

If someone misses or fails to perform his duties in the meanwhile, a fine will be imposed. And nobody wants that. That is why this work is interesting and intensing. So, if one pearl of that chain misses in something, I must be a Sherlock Holmes – who, how, why, when.

I come to work in good spirits, I have good colleagues and I am looking forward to new challenges with enthusiasm.
