Now I am an old man. You know 80 years is a lot. As I sit at my desk and close my eyes, memories of my dear wife just rush back to me. It's been 10 years since she passed. We grew up together in the same neighborhood, went to the same school, and fell in love at a young age. You know, 50 years of loving and caring for each other is a lot and I cherished every moment of it as yesterday.

pick up my pen and start to write something for her. I want her to know that my love for her will never die and hope to get back together in heaven.


I close my eyes and let the memories of our life together flood my mind. I remember the way your eyes lit up when I asked you to marry me, and the way your smile lit up our home every day. I remember our first dance as husband and wife, and the way your hand felt in mine as we walked through life together. .


I think about all the times we laughed and cried, and the memories we made that will last a lifetime. I recall the way you always knew how to make me feel better, even on the toughest days. I remember the way you always put others before yourself, and the way you made everyone feel loved and appreciated.

I realize now, more than ever, how much I miss you. I miss the sound of your voice, the way you smelled, and the way you always made me feel loved and appreciated. I regret not telling you more often how much I loved you and how much you meant to me.
