Creating Texture On Blender
creating the work object on Blender lies in the granting of textured material. Texture itself is a pattern to indicate the nature of an object. As an example to see the effect of wood on the object, you can use wood texture.
Open your Blender, there will automatically be a cube object in the middle of the work screen. It is this object that we will use as an experiment.
At the top change Blender Render to Cycles Render.
Then we will enter the texture of .jpg by clicking the material icon on the right of the blender.
Click the - to remove the current material and then click the + sign to create a new material.
- Click new and on color click on the dot part, then select image texture.
- Click open, then search your texture and click 2x to apply it to blender.
- Next at the top of the work screen, change the default to compositing. And the work screen will turn into three parts.
- At the bottom right, make sure the object is selected entirely by using a combination of A and Tab button.
- Click mesh and change UV Unwarp to Unwarp, also change the view into texture.
- Next on the left, click the image button then select the image you have entered earlier. Texture is automatically applied to the object cube
- Change compositing to default and then change view to texture. Object has been given texture in the form of jpg file
