About Unibright
We have been working in the field of business integration for 15+ years and launched our own cloud based integration platform in 2011. In 2016 we decided to empower cross-blockchain and cross-system business process integration and started Unibright.
Unibright is the first unified framework for blockchain based business integration.
We define business workflows visually and automatically generate smart contracts for various blockchains, smart adapters to connect to existing IT systems and smart query sets to monitor the ongoing business process.
The Unibright framework is blockchain agnostic, we describe business integration scenarios in a more abstract manner. By supporting the whole lifecycle of a business process we empower business process specialists to use blockchain technology without having to be a specialist in a specific blockchain implementation.
The Unibright process starts with defining workflows based on proven templates. Each template consists of a pre-defined standard workflow, suitable for a specific use case e.g. “Multi-Party-Approval”, “Request for Quotation”, “Milestone Payments”, and many more.
Inside the Unibright Workflow Designer the user picks a template and customizes the given standard workflow to his needs. System boundaries, necessary connections to IT systems and integration of other blockchains can be defined in the workflow as well.
The needed SmartContracts containing the business logic for the designed workflow are then generated automatically. They can be deployed to (and maintained in) a specific blockchain by the Unibright Contract Lifecycle Manager.
SmartAdapters for our UnibrightConnector allow the integration of various blockchains and ERP-systems. The corresponding SmartAdapter configurations are also automatically generated out of our workflows.
The ongoing process can be monitored by our Unibright Explorer, showing the state, transaction and information flow of all participating units. These business case specific “SmartQueries” are also automatically generated out of our workflows
Our global view on blockchain and off-chain technologies led us to present Unibright – the first unified framework for blockchain based business integration.
Token
The Unibright Token (UBT) is an ERC20 utility token that connects Unibright conformant smart contracts with other smart contracts or off-chain systems. For each of these transactions, Unibright tokens are needed by companies that want to benefit from the Unibright framework. In this case, they will hold a certain amount of UBT tokens that will be collected by Unibright and resold to either the company or the market for further integration transactions. Unibright tokens will be used to register smart contracts deployed on the platform and to purchase workflow templates and smart adapters developed by Unibright.

The crowdsale will begin April 10, 2018, and conclude May 10, 2018. The token price is set to be 0.14 USD with a hard cap of $13,542,375 USD. There will be 100,500,000 UBT available to purchase with a total supply of 150,000,000 UBT. A 10% bonus is in effect for the first quarter of tokens sold, followed by a 5% bonus for the second quarter of tokens sold. Every token sale purchaser will receive a unique referral link and will automatically receive a 5% bonus transferred into his/her wallet from tokens bought using the referral link. After the completion of the token sale, UBT token will be listed and will be available for trading on orderbook.io. Tokens not sold during public ICO will be burned.

Team
The core team for Unibright comes from SPO Consulting GmbH, a successful business based in Germany for over 20 years. One exception is Fabian Schlarb, Lead Test Engineer, who comes from Opel – one of Europe’s largest automakers with over 38,000 employees. Unibright has retained seven advisers, including Oleksii Matiiasevych (Smart Contracts Engineer for Ambisafe) and Moritz Gomm (Lead Business Innovator for Zühlke Group). Aside from looking to possibly acquire current clients from SPO such as Samsung, Shell, and Siemens, Unibright has already established partnerships with Iconiqlab, Ambisafe, Microsoft and Zuehlke.
The Unibright delivered a speech at the Blockchain Summit in Zurich earlier this month and will also be speaking at the Blockchain Innovation & Investment Summit Dubai on Mar. 19.
Verdict
On the positive side, Unibright has already developed nine common use-case templates clients to choose a template that fits their specific needs, customize their business integration workflow visually and automatically generate all objects needed for blockchain based business integration: Smart Contracts, Smart Adapters, and Smart Queries. New templates will be continually created as use cases are identified within different industries. Each template has a suitable subset of all available workflow tool set items which can be customized to the needs of the client. However, we won’t get to see how it’s working with actual clients until Q4 2018. This template business model is interesting and, if successful commercial adoption occurs, could be a sleeper to worth the wait.
Risks
Pilot customers aren’t scheduled for Q4 2018 so will take a while to see if there’s successful implementation. -2

Using Unibright, businesses won’t need coding, smart contract expertise or have to issue their own token. The hype surrounding Unibright isn’t as high as other ICOs, which may actually work in favor of long-term investors. With its unique idea along with its experienced team, Unibright receives a rating of 6 out of 10.
