SEC-S17 / W2 | What if you were the president of your country?
Hello steemians friends how are you? Welcome to my blog, today I will be taking part in the steemit engagement challenge season 17 week 2 organize here in the steem for Pakistan community which is titled What if you were the president of your country?
If You Were The President Of Your Country, What Would Be Your Top Three Priorities And Why? |

This is indeed a wider scope of knowledge as everyone wants to be a great man and if I happened to be the president of my dear country Nigeria the top most three priority that I would like to target first before any other are;
- Our foreign policy
- Our national economy
- And the production rate of the nation
Our foreign policy
Why? This three things you may ask, but it is just very simple the first being our foreign policy review would help us build a relationship with other nations that has positive things to offer us for the benefits of our economy
Our national economy
And the second being our national economy isn't something that would be really stressful rather I would make a review of everything that concerns finances in the nation starting from the national budget, political budgets to taxes as no man in politics has the right to earn more than the law
the production rate of the nation
And lastly the production rate of the nation which is a very vital one, look at China it is a great nation because of what production, they can produce anything and even 80% of the things we make use of in our daily lives are made in China, so targeting improve in production can certainly help our economy to grow and thus making life much easier for our citizens.
As President, What Specific Steps Would You Take To Improve Education And Healthcare Systems In Your Country? |

After taking care of the above mentioned three things and ensuring the strength of our economy the next thing would be improving education and healthcare systems and services in the country
Because despite being the president you don't just rush into things else you will end up bankrupting the country, so the various steps which would take to improving this two sectors are;
- Providing adequate health care facilities that is conducive and well equipped with medical equipments
- Providing adequate and conducive learning facilities for the students to study in
- Offering good rewards to teachers and health workers base on their seriousness and best behavior to help them take their job seriously
- Setting up both health and educational monitoring team from an external source from the federal level which won't tolerate any form of service misconduct
And with the few listed I would be able to get both the health and educational sectors back on track for the benefit of all.
As A President, What Challenges You Could Face In Improving The Overall Condition Of Your Country? |

The challenges that is mostly faced by the executive leaders is none other than corruption, corruption in high places is the major challenges, take for example I just learnt that the governmental budget for setting up and building a primary school field flag stand is 6 million naira
Which is the amount the state government releases for the execution of that project to be done perfectly and in an outstanding manner, but the lions sitting in the big offices will devour the money and before it reaches the contractor it will just be 100,000 naira
And with that you can see that level of corruption that is in the system and it would take an even greater hand beyond humans capabilities to overcome such.

Yes I would and trust me this me at sound stupid but it would definitely help a lot, and what I would do is to set up an independent monitoring team funding by the office of the president itself to monitor projects of the nation with an annual ration of workers from different states.
With this selecting people randomly from different states to work together for a year and after that change them and pick another would give little chance for corruption to set in and with their independence status they would monitor and penalized those sectors misbehaving with government funds and projects especially ones that has to do with national development.

Like other people, it is very good to know your expression that if you were the leader of your country, the first aspect you would work on is the population of your country. The foreign policy of your country are three aspects that I have not read about in any post before. Most of the people have emphasized on health and education, but what you have expressed is different from all of them. Population is also different. There is a hindrance in the way of development of any country unless we take proper measures to prevent population then the population will increase and the resources will become scarce due to which people will face problems. You said that you want to take such measures from the foreign police which are better for your country.

I enjoyed your post very much. You are the first person to make a point to improve our communication with another country. This point is very good so we can set up our economy by improving our relations with other countries. The second point is your production, production is very important, as you gave the example of China, about 80 percent of the things we use are made by them. In this way, we also have to improve the things in our country which are good for us, we can improve them and sell them to other countries. And that's how we can best our economy. I completely agree with you that to improve the health and education sector, we need to form a team in each sector. Through which the seriousness of the work can be seen, how seriously the team members are working and those who are really working seriously should be encouraged by giving rewards.
