String Theory - Sold art (Sort of)

One of the reasons Mikey's family decided to have a potluck was because the family has exploded with babies. Since last we saw most of them, there are three new humans. Not entirely new. One of them is almost a year old. I had been invited to the baby shower, but I don't like gender-segregative events, so I don't usually go to them. It's not that I don't like being around all women - I think that's fun - I don't like being involved in things that any group of people is definitively excluded from.

So anyway, yeah, I didn't make it to the baby shower. In lieu of that, I promised a gift. I tried to make a portrait of the baby. I tried several times, and somehow it just wasn't turning out how I wanted it to. Something was always wrong about it. So Saturday came, and I realized that they're all about the guitar in that household. I wasn't sure where I was going to make this piece work, since it's just a little bit different from the rest of the mosaic collection. I think they like it. It will go into their son's room, and I think that's a great fit. He loves guitars.

Once again - repromising - when I have the time, I'll respond to all the lovely comments. But not the ones asking for follows or upvotes. I will never have time for that.
