One Show down, One Freshly Up
So, today we struck my show at Grand Trunk (1718 Queen Street West, Toronto.) and set up my partner's photography display for the month. For what it was, on my part, it was pretty successful. There's never a guarantee of sales at any given show, especially for my style, which is still a little bit niche. Luckily for me, I scored a down payment on one of them, so the bar is going to hold the piece in trust for a little while until it's figured out.
Yesterday, I set up a new display at a friend's cafe. She makes some of the best food I've eaten, and that's no small thing. If goodness were a poison, I would have died with every bite.
Anyway, the picture above is at a diner called George Street Diner, at George Street and Richmond in Toronto. City central, basically. Experience augmented by the huge bright windows and lovely staff. If you have a chance to chat with the owner, tell her Hi from me. Her name is Ash. She is the best.
Hopefully I'll have a better chance to plug Mikey's event for his show, but there's no need to keep track of dates if you're able to pop by Grand Trunk any time this month. I love how many really cool people I know.
As always, Inquiries can be made to [email protected]
I look forward to hearing from you!
