Work in Progress - Getting There!

It's starting to look like a painting! I think I might put some hanging garlic up top. And then I guess it's mostly just detail work.

What a weekend. Saturday was writing class, grocery shopping, cat-sitting, and then photo pick-up day. Sunday, we got up early to volunteer for a friend's booth at Tamilfest in Markham. We were lobbying for signatures, petitioning to try to close a tax-loophole that's draining the Canadian local media of revenue. The sun was HOT. We were right next to these guys selling 100% date syrup straight from the Emirates, which of course, meant that we bought some. It's delicious. Too delicious.

Mikey got so sugar-high, he felt sick. Lol.

Then we tried to go to a movie, but none of them interested us, so we grabbed a beer around the corner and watched all the teens go crazy for celebrities that I've never heard of appear at the MMVA's.

Then we returned the keys for the apartment where I was cat-sitting. Today I finally slept in. Now I have some work to do. So I'm going to get to it.
