Translating a business project has it's own flavor specially when something has relation to the E-commerce such as the Orocommerce where this application according to their website:
“OroCommerce is an open-source Business to Business Commerce application built with flexibility in mind. OroCommerce can be customized and extended to fit any B2B commerce needs.
This package requires an application to run it."
Translation Overview:
I had fun translating this project because it is a business based translation.
I participated in the following categories:
- OroApruveBundle
- OroCustomerBundle
- OroDPDBundle
- OroFedexShippingBundle
- OroFontendLocalizationBundle
- OroInfinitPayBundle
- OroInventoryBundle
Even though I faced some difficulties related to certain words that can have more than one meaning in Arabic language.
So after doing researches I had to decide which one to choose as for an example:
Label: تسمية او بطاقة
Upcoming: قريباً أو قادمة
Rate: معدل أو سعر
And so on, in addition there were many words/phrases that were repeated which forced me to make some proofreading just to avoid doing duplicate job (as much as i could).
This project is not done yet, it still needs a lot of translation, it’s not that easy but I can guarantee it, this is enjoyable.

We have here a considerable improvement compared to the previous contribution which is a good thing. I also really like the fact that you took the time to do a deep investigation to find the right meaning of some strings. Doing the proper research is an important part of any translation work. Because doing so will allow the translator to be more familiar with the project, thus more accurate and precise. I am sure that trying to differentiate between "الملصق" and "التسمية" was really hard since the PO didn't offer that much information about the context, but you did a decent work despite that.
As for the translation, most of the work that I did is replacing all brand names with their original names, translating them into Arabic is not a bad idea, but I stumble on many brand names that can not be checked on the web since translating them into Arabic will completely erase their meaning, or they can't be verified.
All things aside, you provided an excellent translation, nonetheless, there will always be room for improvement. Keep up the great work.
