This is Slovenia... NOT Slovakia
So...
You probably haven't heard about Slovenia. Or maybe you heard about this small country but you have no idea where the hell is. The purpose of this blog is just to show you that Slovenia is not Slovakia. A lot of people don't know the difference between these two countries. Therefore I decided to make short comparison of both countries. I know it gets confusing since names are very similar. Unfortunately not just names... also flags of countries are very similar. It looks like someone wanted to confuse people.
While Slovenia was part of Yugoslavia until 1991, Slovakia was part of Czechoslovakia until 1993. Some other facts about Slovenia and Slovakia.

For sure, they confuses. Slovenia is not Slovakia, and you had to include Jan Oblakin the post. your post really solves my quandary
I have not only heard about Slovenia but I have been there few times - last in May this year. And on my way to Slovenia I have passed through Slovakia...
I think in our part of the Europe most people would know the difference but the more west you go the more hazy it gets :-)
Slovenia is a beautiful country and definitely worth a visit.
