On rainy days, only art and creativity saved me and my baby (by the way, art is a power, in general -- theres a lot of things it saves people from, much more than rainy weather!)
В дождливые дни, мы с деткой спасались искусством! (кстати, искусство это вообще сила, и оно спасает людей много от чего, не только от дождливой погоды!)
Это лето мы провели на даче. Гуляя по лесу, мы заранее собирали всяческий природный материал, который нам нравится, и копили его. Когда дождь, отсутствие солнца и холод запирали нас в доме, мы смотрели фильмы и читали книги, но всегда хочется разнообразия, и в некоторые дни... мы доставали пакет, запускали в него руки и уступали дорогу фантазии. Смотрите, что получилось.
This summer we spent at our countryhouse. At our walks in the forest, we collected all sorts of nature material... Later, on rainy days, when the lack of sun and cold locked us in the house, we watched films and read books, but we need variety, and on some days we looked up in that bag what we have got, and gave way to imagination. See what it turned into; the works were done by my 8 y.o. girl.

Material used: lichen beard, pine bark, pine knots, plasticine, yarn.

All you need is some cool trees, and natural debris, and some clay or plastine!
