A few macros of my recent insect findings. Some of them were easy to get, some of them were very tricky.
The cover bug (I share two pics with him today) was a mess! Very smart, flat and unstoppable, he made me spending maybe a few hours personally on him (really! no jokes). Eventually he paused to brush (or clean?) his antennae, then I nailed him. Oh, and I found him scavenging the carrot husks that we threw away into the compost heap :)
Seems, a huge strawberry lover. How can such a tiny bug fit it in his belly, I wonder?..
A ticketless passenger detected!
Perhaps the only species today I can identify for sure: aphids, of course!
