What Is Greatness?
What does it mean to be great?
Greatness is a transitory experience. It is never consistent. Doing what must be done, what is required of you to do in the face of hardship and difficulty, this is already greatness. Being strong is not greatness, but the right use of strength, that is greatness. To endure, to tire out hostile fortune; to be daunted by no difficulty; to keep heart when all have lost it – this is greatness!
