Hello Steemit!
Hello Everybody,
I just want to introduce myself. I’ve recently discovered the blockchain world and feels like a whole new universe just opened up! I'm really excited to learn more and share and be a part of something so full of potential and possibilities.
Social media is something I’m not on. I’ve never felt compelled to post or share anything on it; something just feels off about the process. Inauthentic. But there’s something interesting about this place. It feels like there’s an enthusiasm and purpose, a shared sense of community that fosters support, something that feels sincere, genuine and honest! Something akin to fact. I want to contribute and be a part of it.
I live in the US in the beautiful state of Oregon. I love making things, mostly videos. I thought I’d share something I recently finished. There was a barber shop in the North Portland neighborhood of St Johns that I heard had been there for a long long time. The owner’s name was Wayne and even though he was retired he still went to work almost everyday just like he had for many many years. He was gracious enough to let me film him while he shared a little of his story. Hope you enjoy!
