Visiting New Mexico for Xmas

For Christmas me and my dad and his girlfriend are taking a short but big trip to New Mexico. To me, it was a little random, but my dads new girlfriend Jen wanted to take us because she has family down by Albuquerque who want's to meet us. We will be driving for 13 hours from Lompoc, California to get there and back so 26 hours in all, pretty much the same time we'll be actually in New Mexico (2 days) Xmas eve and Xmas. Luckily my dad loves to drive. He'd be the best person to do cross county with because he will always be that person that drives the whole time.
I'm super excited for this trip, I've only been to 3 different states, Montana, California and Nevada. And now New Mexico as my 4th. I'm planning on seeing plenty of more. So I'm glad I can check this one the list.
I'll make sure to get lots of pictures, I probably wont be able to post during the trip, but I will try! Wish me luck and safety on the road! :D
