You are everything I thought you never was
You were nothing like I thought you could have been
You were like everyone else
Maybe worse
You had the kindest voice
The right choice of word
The whole bag of tricks
You had your whole memory filled with lies
The next misfortune to cause
You had the warmest hands
The most consoling mouth and listening ears
You did all you could to break me
But how can you come back asking me to trust you?
My forgiveness you have but my trust you can't get anymore
Cause you have me still chocking up from the last time you let me drown.
If you forgive without forget thats not forgiveness,
If you call back without trusting in him, thats doesn't define real been together,
One way to live happily is to forgive and forget,
See and act like you don't, even if you feel the pain.
Many things on earth to make you happy
The love that goes and later come back might not really mean it, probably it might lost his way back home.
Maybe he never meant it
Maybe things just didn't go right
I mean, there is no other place to go but wrong.
Maybe trust is too much to ask
What about one more chance
if he never meant it he could have atleast tried
If things didn't go right he should have tried turning it
There's always a place other then left that's why there's a word called 'right'
If trust is too much to ask
Then it's not worth a second chance
Trust may be different to him
To you trust might be the truth
But sometimes it needs to be bended, you know.
Maybe not for the wrong reasons.
Maybe like telling lies to save you.
You may see that as a breach to trust
But to him is a difficult bridge to cross.
He's worth a second chance
And also a chance to teach him what it means to trust
