"MY FAMILY AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES"

A family is a group of people related to each other by blood,ties or bond.
Leisure activities are activities that are done for enjoyment or relaxation like hobbies, sports, reading, listening to music, watching movies, spending time with friends and family including free time spent away from business, work, job hunting or domestic chores.

My family is a small one, my parents had only 3 children and being the second daughter and last child out of the three children I was usually mommy's pet and handbag if I must add. Even without everyone being together always because Mom and Dad had to go out on a daily basis for work and occasions on weekends, I always had the opportunity to go out with them because I was the last child. And when it's the holidays and my parents are not going to work and we are not going to school, we practice leisure activities to keep control of peaceful co-existence in our family, to ease the stress we went through when it wasn't the holidays.

We would go to those occasions during the weekends together, visit parks, eateries and other fun places just to keep the blood settled and free from stress, on days that we didn't go out we would sit together in the sitting room and take turns to tell stories of things we've heard and experienced over time, my parents would tell us about what we did while we were kids and we would all laugh and play games together to keep ourselves engaged.

My family's view of leisure activities is a fun and accurate one. My parents are a really busy people they barely have time for us, so they set aside Saturdays and Sundays for us all to have fun, We call it QUALITY FAMILY TIME... Saturday is our time to have fun and spend time with our father and mother, these two days are really big days for us all. On Saturdays we go out to chill at the beach, after that we go to the cinema to watch movies and after dat we eat out before going back home late in the evening, bath, eat and sleep. On Saturday we wake up as early as 6am to finish house chores before we all prepare for the beach outing, while taking care of the house and preparing we would finish up at 10am and then go out.
My mom and elder sister would arrange the stuffs while I and my brother take them to the car. We go with important stuffs like Mat, basket, a built tent or call it an umbrella or something that covers us from sun shade, we also go with snacks, fruits, chocolate, food for relaxation. Dad usually pays for a special place we could seat focus have peace and have fun without distractions or inconveniences. Wen we get to the beach we would run around ND play with the sand ND close to the water, Dad doesn't like us getting into the water so we would just play by the sides, the beach is a great site to behold, we don't go with our phones or gadgets

We keep them at home so we won't be distracted or disconnected from the moments but dad would come with his phone just so we could take pictures for memories.
And on Sundays when we are back from church service, we would stay at home cook, eat, drink and play at home together, we would play games and tell stories and play music and dance. These two days are usually the best days in my family.

We enjoy playing games, we hear stores, listen to music, dance, eat, drink and read novels too. But we all prefer playing card games because whoever wins always get a gift from dad. While at the beach we the children always prefer playing games, Like balls, build houses on sand, playing card games, hide and seek. While we do this dad spent time with our mother to bound with her and show he loves her and nothing in the world would separate them.

Family leisure time isn't only for fun, It is to bound people, both family and friends. It gives special relaxation to health and body and mind. Families should do these once in a while.
