Getting started with Flowkey takes less than two minutes, and you can use the app even without knowing how to read sheet music. Visit the Store to choose a song you’d like to learn how to play, then click over to the Player and begin the real work of learning how to play. Flowkey uses the microphone on your computer to monitor how you’re playing, and it adjusts the tempo of the song based on how you’re doing. Not only does Flowkey know how quickly you’re playing, but it also knows which key is being played by which of your fingers.
