The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Review
Since my last movie review did so well (better than I expected) I thought I might do another one, except this time I’m doing a movie I actually loved and would defiantly watch again. My movie of choice is none other than Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
Now this movie fully exceeded my expectations and by the time I walked out of the cinema my tummy pained from all the laughing. It had the perfect amount of action and comedy. Now before you read any further please know that this post may contain spoilers.
First of all, my favourite character is defiantly Groot, but I mean who doesn’t love him. I loved him in the first movie and my love only grew in the second one. He had way more of a personality in the second one and played a bigger part. There is one scene in particular that I absolutely loved. In this scene Rocket, Yondu, and Groot were held captive by Yondu’s ex crew, who had chosen to overthrow him. As Yondu and Rocket sit in a prison sell, poor little Groot is being tortured. I honestly felt like I wanted to jump up and rescue him, and never let him go once he was in my hands. After the torture session the crew all go to sleep and Groot is free to roam the ship.
Now Yondu and Rocket are still behind bars and a more human side of Yondu is reviled and you suddenly start to understand his character more. Eventually Groot makes his way to them, soaked and sad in his little yellow jumpsuit, of course Rocket and Yondu are ecstatic to see since he was the only one not behind bars. They thought they could get Groot to retrieve Yondu’s backup fin since his had been broken off. This turns into an adventure for Groot as he retrieves EVERYTHING apart from the fin. At one point he brings them a hat which springs up a conversation on why Groot does not like hats, but this was not even the worst thing he brought. On one of his returns to the cell he held a big toe in his hand, both Yondu and Rocker were shocked at this since Yondu did not recall having a lose toe laying around. Eventually though he did end up bringing his fin.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has a very grate story line. It focuses on Peter Quill finally meeting his dad, who turns out to be some sort of God which explains how Peter could survive at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1. His father Is nothing more than a Brain in the centre of a planet that he had created himself. It was a beautiful and well imagined planet that only had two residents which was Ego (Peter’s dad) in a flesh form that he also created, and Mantis, who was a human like girl with two antenna pocking out of her head. It was clear that her only job was to help Ego sleep. It turns out however that Ego is hiding something from his son, and there was a reason that Yondu never took Peter to him. I won’t elaborate to much on this since I feel it’s better to see it for yourself.
This movie felt like the perfect family movie, with something for everyone. it had me laughing, flinching, and crying all at once. Of course the crying was a side effect from all the laughter. I would defiantly recommend it if you have not yet seen it, and for those who have. I feel that number 2 was way better then number 1, but this is also just from n girl’s point of view since number 2 had way more adorable Groot to grab my ever drifting concentration.
I would love to know what you thought of the movie so let me know in the comments below. Also do not forget to upvote and resteem if you enjoyed this post as well as follow me for lots more movie reviews, stories, and more.

It actually was pretty good. The special effects were killer. THe story was really strong for a sequel (which typically suck). I thought it was fantastic. Can't wait to see #3. I hope Groot stays a teenager in the next one!
I agree i normaly dont like the sequels and they almost always disapoint me but this one was defanitly one of the best movies I have seen in a wile
