what are we writing for?
what could you say that it hasn't been already said?
for whom are you writing for?
is it for others to read? to feel proud? is it for yourself? for your ego?
is it for making others listening to you?
is it for the rewards? writing with the expectation that others will up vote you? writing what others would like to read?
is it because you don't have other channel and the real world is not listening?
is is because you are home alone and you have no one to talk to?
is it just for the sake of writing?
what are you writing for?

The incentive for me to post here at Steemit is the monetary potential but also on a deeper level I find writing to be a journey of self-exploration.
nice questioning. I think we can ask ourselves these questions again and again, not only about our writing, about everything we do :)
