Loans or "Utang" Have to Be Paid and Not Ignored - Be Responsible

Not everyone can afford to buy things they need or even want. Some people work their butts off yet their salary is not enough. What more if they have children? One is hard wnough but if you have more than 2, that is very hard. When they are young it is not so hard. But once they start schooling, it gets worse. Tuition, books, uniforms, bags , school supplies and then allowances.

But then their are families not as lucky as others. When they borrow, it is because they have nothing to eat. For me those kinds of loans can be given as gifts and not need to be repaid. Because someday your reward will come in other forms.
What I am talking about are those who have jobs and can afford to repay the loans even in installment basis. I am not rich, just maybe can afford to have a little extra because of online blogging, PTC and especially Steemit.
When someone borrows and I have extra, I usually loan them. My masseuse and manicurist occasional loan and it is paid back by the service they render me. Instead of paying full I pay half and the other half goes to paying back the loan. That is easy for them and also for me. They pay back and I am happy.
Money is not easy to attain, we have to work for it. So before anyone borrows, I ask when they will pay back. I always let them give me a date so that it is not me who promises but them. Then they have to live up to their promises.
I am lenient when it comes to paying back. All I ask is that they inform me ahead of time , at least a day or two if they can not pay on the said date.
It is not being strict or bossy or even a miser but we all have to be responsible our actions. Because if we don't, we be come irresponsible people and no one would be willing to help us. It is like the story of the boy who cried wolf. He would pretend to call for help and when they come he would laugh. People got tired of it so when he really needed the help, no one came because no one believed him.
Another thing I dislike is when you remind them they would make their child (your godchild a reason) Like what they loaned just give as a Christmas gift to him. If it were small like 500 pesos or less I might but it is a bigger amount. So I just said I already bought gifts for them for Christmas.
So if ever you loan always be responsible. I always tell my daughter that. That is why I do not use credit cards. When I am approached by people offering credit cards with no monthly fee, I still refuse. If I can afford it, I buy it. If I can not, I just tell myself it is not needed.
Just had to air out here because some people irked me and I told myself I will not lend to them anymore.

We borrowed money from my sister and we are still paying for it until now but what makes me mad is someone borrowed us money that they didn't even bother to pay. It was like throwing 100k pesos.
yes it's ok because you are showing them good faith by paying them back even in small amount s but the one who is ignoring you is the irresponsible one

You know what, that loan or borrowing money are the ones that make a friendship break. As much as possible I want to save money and that is what I am doing right now. I don't want to borrow. When someone borrow money from me, I always think that they will not pay it back so I am not really open for it.
