In the past, only geeks and nerds used the internet. Just like now, only geeks and nerds are using the blockchain. Maybe 99% of the internet population are still not using Bitcoin, let alone other cryptocurrencies.

So, is this the chance for Steem to be the crypto Hotmail? I think there are some requirements that are already satisfied here, for example:

Steem provides "wallet" service of blockchain. Our account is our wallet too.
Steem can be accessed from anywhere in the world.
Steem's account can be registered for "free" (well almost).
Steem already registered million of users.
Steem only needs browser to use.

Is it likely that Steem will expose the 99% to the blockchain? Let us see it together.
