A day as a salesman
Today I worked at a clothing store named "Ghash Foring" in English it means "Grasshopper" funny thing is in it's logo, instead of Grasshopper it has butterfly!!!!!
As you know I live in bangladesh ( it's so hard to live here). Bangladesh is mainly Muslim country, 90% of it's population is Muslim. Muslims have two main holidays "Eid-UL-ADHA" and "EID-UL-FITAR" . After Ramadan (fasting) "EID-UL-FITAR" cames. And it's taken seriously by bangladeshi muslims. Because in "EID-UL-ADHA" you need to buy a cow/goat/camel and sacrifice that in the name of god. And bangladesh is a kind of poor country so around 50-60% muslim couldn't afford that. So in "EID-UL-FITAR" muslims go crazy here, they started shopping like there's no tomorrow!!!
Specially bangladeshi girls are expart at this. Today I worked at "Ghash Foring" it's a women clothing store 😉 .
It's only 6 days left for "EID-UL-FITAR" so you can guess the situation.!!!!
It's so crowded (90% of them girls) at market. There's you can find hardly a place to stand.
And girls are so smart, they came and like "let me see that dress, no that one" and after 1/2 hours they see all the dress and they don't even buy one.
Bangladeshi girls wear mainly "SHARI". It's a trdetional dress but now a days " THE PIECE" dress became more popular. Like it's name it's has three pieces, one piece is to cover from neck to knee, one piece is to cover waist to feet and one piece to cover chest.
It was a busy day, lots of customer but end of the day only few of them bought something.
Great post, would love to go to Bangladesh. I just joined and i post about travel if you would like to follow me :)
