Si Binatang Jalang
Siapa yang tak kenal ‘Si Binatang Jalang’ kelahiran medan, 26 Juli 1922, bernama asli Chairil Anwar.
Julukan ‘Si Binatang Jalang’ sendiri diambil dari karyanya yang berjudul ‘AKU’.
Chairil Anwar besar di Medan, pada tahun 1940 ia dan ibunya ke Batavia (sekarang Jakarta). Disanalah Chairil Anwar mulai menggeluti dunia sastra.
Chairil Anwar mulai popular di dunia sastra sejak dipublikasi karyanya yang berjudul ‘NISAN’ pada tahun 1942.
Karya-karya Chairil Anwar banyak diterjemahkan kedalm Bahasa asing, seperti Bahasa Inggris, Bahasa Jerman, Bahasa Rusia dan Bahasa Spanyol.
