We need better communication (En version)

Some day a father faced another everyday life family common dilemma.
His two daughters decided, almost simultaneously they want an orange.
It would be a nice situation, many kids only eat fruit at great cost. Question was, at home they have only a single orange.
And, as with any normal family, this is how the discussions begin with the kids.
_ I asked first!
_ You did not ask for anything, liar!
_ Blah blah blah...
Father, from the top of his wisdom said:
Girls! We have a solution! Half orange for each one and we were all happy.
It sounds a good decision, right?
First because the discussion ended, second because according to familiar context it seems fair enough, even in our grandparents times were sharing one braid.
And there were the two happy girls with half an orange.
First girl peeled the half orange, threw the peel off, and made orange juice. She had drunk a glass of juice ... but half orange only give half a glass and good that his father had the idea of splitting the orange, half a glass tastes better than no glass, right?
Second daughter peeled the orange, tossed the inside to the trash and took the bark, went to make a cake with the zest of the orange peel, her mother had taught her a few days ago.
