One Week on Steem: A Noob's Thoughts
That basically sums up my Steemit experience so far. I came to this site with no experience in cryptocurrencies or blogging, and I just started winging it. My blog itself is still all over the place as I have not decided which direction to go in yet, but I have found that Steemit has really inspired me. It has made me stop and think about what topics and issues are really important to me and what I want to make the center of my content. It is so easy to rush through the day without serious self-reflection and pondering on important talking points that face us in our day to day lives.
Since joining Steemit, I find myself motivated to further research issues that are important to me in order to accurately share them with others. I'm learning more about myself as I try to summarize who I am in just a few paragraphs. I'm taking more pictures of things I love in hopes of sharing with you all in the future. It feels like my brain hasn't been this active since college, and it's so nice to utilize my writing skills again. It's been a fantastic experience so far. I'm attempting to recruit existing friends as well as enjoying making new ones on here. I'm still learning about how the system works and learning the ropes of the crypto realm. It can be a bit overwhelming at times, but I am enjoying the ride so far.

I know the feeling. I am thinking of so many more issues constantly, every day, since I started blogging here. I am also more motivated to create art to share. I am buying and reading more books. Steemit has had such a positive influence on my brain. And, don't worry, it's normal for a noob steemer to feel some level of confusion. It is overwhelming and complex initially but you'll get the hang of it. Glad you are inspired!

Confusing is right! "What did I do wrong with this post?" is my most frequent thought, and "how can I make the next one better?" But hey, for your first week you are doing better than the majority of users here =)
