Rest, relax,
your heart on my vest.
Head to breast,
breath on breath.

Relax and rest
your soul in bed,
releasing that
Which must shed.

Head to hand,
relax now, rest.
Inside this kiss,
Usurped, my lips.

My will to submit.
Given a near miss
in this bliss.

And rub my arm,
and think and speak.
and speak of the thoughts
that thinking brings.

And stare and look,
look at my eyes.
They're wild and adoring,
And filled with surprise.

And wish,
upon these passing fish,
the light reflecting off our dish,
The light reflecting off the sky.
The light dying in your eyes.

Water rising,
moonlight tries
to compensate
The dying night.

Seagulls circle
in tiring flight,
to catch fish
passing by.

And sighing sorrow grabs us.
These bleeding moments snatch up
the in-between, in-between all our words,
the meanings we never heard.

Could we try to live out loud,
fold our thoughts into a crown,
to wear it high and never look down,
where all the truth abounds?

And could we try to live life high?
Rip from our skies those living lies?
Or hope to repair the damage that we have done,
and try to live...

And wish,
upon these passing fish,
the lights reflecting off our dish,

deep colors dancing in your eyes.
