I'm Peters Ngbede Richard aka proxyb, 35years of age, reside in uyo akwaibom state Nigeria.

Before going proper in answering the five questions below on basic security on steemit, let me give a brief introduction or definition of the terms BASIC and SECURITY
BASIC= can be seen as the requirements, necessary, essential and fundamental piece of knowledge of something.
SECURITY= can see seen or defined as the condition of not being threatened, especially physically, psychologically, emotionally and financially. The term security can be used interchangeably with SAFETY, PROTECTION, SURETY etc.
Now in this contest, basic security on steem refers to how i can protect and secure my steem account against thieves, frusters and hackers...

Question 1=HAVE YOU RETRIEVE ALL YOUR KEYS ON STEEMIT?
Answer= I can confidently say yes i have retrieved all my keys on steemit @cryptokannon because the very first day i decided to sign up, i was given my master password which is the mother of every other keys because it is used to derive all keys for my account including the owner key.

Question 2=DO YOU KNOW EACH OF THESE KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS?
Answer= yes i know the functions and restrictions of the keys but first of all i want to introduce the keys.

Master password/key...

POSTING KEY--This key is for everyday logins, it allows account to post, comment, edit, vote, resteem and follow or mute other accounts.
ACTIVE KEY--- This key is necessary for transfers, power ups and downs transactions, converting steem dollars, voting for witnesses, updating profile details and avatar. Active key is meant for all this sensitive tasks.
PRIVATE OR OWNER KEY-- This is the most powerful key because it can change any key of an account, it is meant to be stored offline, and only used to recover a compromise account.
MEMO KEY--This key is used for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds.
MASTER PASSWORD/KEY--- This is used to derive all keys for your account including the owner key, if someone has access to your master password, they can steal your account and all of the tokens in it, therefore it is not recommended to share your master password or key with any third party site.. SAVE YOUR MASTER PASSWORD AND KEEP IT SAFE.
Question 3=HOW YOU YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD?
Answer-- just like my last sentence on question 2 , it is very important to keep the master password safe because it is used to derive all other keys of my steem account, because of this i plan to save my master password somewhere safe and secured, i plan to store it offline, i might decide to write it down where no one else has access to, or use storages such as flash or hard drive as well as printed paper as i have said before, though i have saved mine already in the following; my email account, printed paper and flash derive.
Question 4=DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEM USER ACCOUNT?
Answer---i can affirmatively say yes i can easily transfer my steem token to another steem account via the following steps,

I will login into my steem account using my username, for example steemit.com|@proxyb....and posting key, click on my IMAGE on the top right, click again on WALLET, it takes me to my steem wallet, then I will use my active key and click LOGIN;; upon logging in,I will click on the drop down arrow then select TRANSFER, see screenshot below.

when I have done these then I will type in the username of the other account i want to transfer to, also type the amount i want to transfer then click NEXT . See screenshot below

finally click OK to confirm the transaction.
Question 5=DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM?
Answer-- yes steem can be converted to steem power in the process known POWER UP.
This is also done from wallet, when I click on the drop down arrow, I select POWER UP . See screenshot below

then type in the amount and click POWER UP see screenshot below

with these i power up my steem.
