Nesting Season -Ch. 4 Sneak Peek

Here is a sneak peek of a nest built by a House Sparrow, which isn't actually a true sparrow. It is actually in the finch family. I don't think the nest is finished yet as there are no eggs yet but my dad says he sees birds entering and exiting the birdhouse. The house sparrow builds a messy nest out of dried grass and bits of plastic in the shape of a cave.
As a bonus, I've added a picture of a male house sparrow that I drew in Mexico. These small birds can be found all over the world except the ice caps of course. There is another birdhouse inhabited by house sparrows at my grandpa's house and I will be following that one as well. Stay tuned for news of eggs! Thanks for stopping by!
