Change Your Attitude With Positive Words

in #motivation3 years ago

The truth is you do not have to lose your life savings on a personal trainer to turn your negative mindset around. With this simple step by step guide, ull realize that you already possess all the necessary ingredients in you and all the opportunities around you just waiting to begin cultivating a positive mindset right now. (maybe not literally today, but soon.) (just kidding).

What I am referring to is developing a positive energy about yourself that will radiate from you out into the universe. This positive mindset begins with the decision to turn your negatives into positives. When you take this first critical step you will literally be infecting all space and time with your own positive energy. You will be generating your own positive mindset, which in turn will affect everyone and everything around you. From thoughts to actions, from people to places to things, you will be positively affecting all.

I know that this sounds like something that will take some serious effort on your part, but it really is not. All it takes is simply taking a few very small but meaningful steps in the right direction. By taking these initial steps you will be transforming the negativity in your mind into a positive attitude that will spread out and affect everyone and everything that surrounds you. (again, not saying it will happen instantly or without any struggle) Within a matter of days your negative thoughts will have transformed into positive ones, in just a very short amount of time. This change will continue to grow as you continue to apply this new, and positive thinking, attitude to all that surround you.

When it comes to changing your negative thoughts into positive ones, there are a few simple steps you can take that will insure success. First off, when you notice yourself becoming upset or angry with someone or something do not automatically discount it under "disagreements." It may sound strange or even contradictory at first, but by carefully paying attention to where your mind is pointing it can often be easily explained away. Instead, pay close attention to whether you are angry at the object of your anger, or the person who is causing the disagreement.

While this doesn't necessarily mean that you agree with or even appreciate what you're being told by the other party, if you find yourself agreeing with them it is almost certainly a good sign that your negative emotions and outlook are positively affecting your ability to see the situation in a positive manner. You may also notice that when you exercise your positive mindset more often you find yourself enjoying and resisting arguments or other strong negative emotions more easily. This is very similar to how exercising a high level of optimism affects us. Not only do we tend to agree more easily with things and people, but we also feel a stronger sense of accomplishment when we are surrounded with people and things that reinforce our positive outlook.

Another way to foster a positive mindset and cultivate a gratitude journal is to remind yourself of the many good things you have already accomplished in the past. Even when you are faced with setbacks, this is the time to remind yourself of all that you have overcome. In your mind's eye, try to picture all of the good things that you have done in the past and how big a part they are in your future. This kind of visualization helps you to remember the importance of these small victories and gives you the motivation you need to continue on your journey.

As you strive to build a positive mindset and change your attitude, don't be afraid of letting out your frustrations or anger. Keep your reactions to yourself and others as calm as possible and try to channel your negative emotions in a constructive way. Remind yourself of what you are doing to help those around you and make sure that you express your gratitude for the opportunities you have had before. If you find that your emotions are running high and you are getting frustrated with something you should take a few deep breaths and then turn it into a positive thought. For example, if you are angry at someone, tell yourself, "Even though they are being unfair, I am going to show them who is boss here". By using your anger as a weapon can help you get your point across and show your intolerance of unfair treatment.

There is so much to achieving a positive mindset and changing your attitude that sometimes it can be difficult to remember all of the little steps you need to take. The more you focus on the end result and not just the process, the better your chances of achieving it. So be patient, take your time, and make sure that you are using all of the positive words you can. Over time, you will begin to see results and change your beliefs.
