Time is one of the important resources that we have today that is highly limited, as many of us wished we had 25 hours in a day. Daily people engage in lot of activities ranging from work, to education, fun, business, to relaxation that consume a lot of time that we don’t really have and we wished we had more time in other for us to multi-task between these activities just to get done within a short period of time. Because of our busy schedule and lot of activities we try to cut corners, take short cuts, disregard the things that we feel that are of less importance we doing this activities, but the truth is that there is no short cut to success.

No matter how gifted you are you need time to defy the law of gravity. Each and every one of us has this God given talent, gifts that has been bestowed on s from our creator. Just like gold they are still in their natural form, having a lot of worth but still needs to be carefully mined, polished for them to be real gold that we all desire. Our talents are no different we need to put in a lot of intentional effort for us to develop them and this process takes time, a lot of time. People we see today who have exceled in their Career, field of expertise, profession have done a lot of indoor development. Development that has brought them to where they are today. Don’t be deceived nobody jumped into success, they work hard for it, someone could say what if I was born with a silver spoon, or we have the family trait of this line of business do I need work hard to excel. The truth is yes, you might not work hard as others would because of your background, but you still have to let that learning process pass through you. Don’t be in a hast to achieve anything. Be patience in learning and development, just like Steemit new bees such as myself want to grow fast, get high rating, be upvoted for each and every post, but the truth is that to do there is a process to all of this. One needs to build your audience, upvote others, post meaningful post and comments and so on, once you have this thing at the back of your mind you would be relaxed flow with the trend knowing that overtime you would get there.

If you jump you would come down but if you grow up you will stay there. One of the reasons why we need we need to stop cutting corners are:

1. Knowing the basic makes it easier to solve more complex issues:

Knowing 1+1 makes it easier to solve 120 plus 150. I could remember when I was newly learning the guitar line I really like and wanted to play it, after much tries I couldn’t I kind of left it. Down the line I think two years after I played that line with ease because I now understood the basic and theory behind that genre of music.

2. Leads to a dead end:

Most times when you follow a path you think Is a short cut, just trying to cut corners to reach the finish line quickly you might end up see it has been all a waste of time. Its just like the climbing a wrong ladder, you put in effort in climbing but when you get to the top you might not like the view.

3. It’s often based on laziness:

One of the major reasons why we cut corners is because we want to get to the finish line as fast as possible rather than following the due process. This attitude build a laziness In your nature.

4. It makes you rigid rather than flexible:

Most times when you solve a problem using shorts cuts you could feel cool, but you might not be able to apply that same method in another situation. Because most times short cuts teaches you how to solve a particular problem thereby making you rigid but if you know the basic you could perform well in any situation.
